Issues Central MIDDLE EAST PODCASTSSPECIAL NOTE: Because of the current situation in the MidEast, for the foreseeable future, Issues Central will be concentrating on podcast interviews and discussions from the ongoing crisis in that area. Those podcasts can be found listed in the column to the left.
Does policy drive politics or politics policy? In an election year, it is always a little of both. But even though personalities and celebrity can easily dominate elections for the media, how a candidate stands on the issues is still the most important factor in gaining the approval of the serious voter. ISSUES CENTRAL is where we’ll illuminate and illustrate the pros and the cons of the issues at the center of the American election, 2006, in original articles, podcasts, and video presentations. From the war in Iraq to the war over the US border; from jobs to taxes; from the economic environment to the costs of maintaining the environment; and on into health care, fuel costs, and foreign policy. We hope you’ll join us as we work with some of the best known experts in all of these fields as well as seeking out some of the brighter, if lesser known, scholars and commentators both within and without the world wide web. ——— |
