France Prepares 50,000 Riot Police for Muslim Attacks EXCLUSIVE TO PJM By Paul Belien from Brussels Journal As America prepares for Halloween, France is girding for a wave of attacks from Muslim youths—a reprise of the deadly French riots of last year. A leaked French intelligence report warns that during the first week of November, a school holiday (Nov. 1 or All Saint’s Day), Muslim riots could convulse the country. On Monday, Le Figaro, the leading center-right newspaper in the country, quoted a confidential report written by the Renseignements Généraux (RG), the French equivalent of the FBI. The 17-page RG report, dated 11 October, states that the root causes of last year’s riots are still in place. The authorities are especially concerned with All Saints Day when “many urban youths are left to their own and have more time to cause unrest.” Not that France has been a peace since last year’s riots. In the past few weeks alone, several policemen were ambushed by youths who seemed intent on killing them. In response, the French Interior Ministry asked the police to keep a low profile and not to show themselves in the Muslim suburbs in order to avoid tension. Since appeasement alone is not a strategy. French authorities are keeping a force of some 50,000 riot police in permanent stand-by. A ministry spokesman said it is important to find “the good balance: not overreact to the situation, but at the same time, not underestimate it either.” A local prefect (a provincial governor) added: “In case of trouble, we will have to be able to control events for a prolonged period without running out of forces.” Last year’s intifada lasted three weeks. It petered out when the authorities asked the media to stop devoting attention to the riots. The situation, however, never returned to normal. Unless one considers (as some French officials seem to do) the current situation as “normal.” In the first six months of this year there were 50,000 acts of urban violence by Muslims. On average 15 police officers, fire fighters or other public officials are attacked per day and 100 cars are set alight per night. Gangs of immigrant vandals operate in a paramilitary fashion. A spokesman for the French police officers union, himself a policeman, has that France is in the midst of a “civil war.” Interestingly, no public official said the union was exaggerating. The RG report, cited by Le Figaro, however, says that there is no evidence that the gangs coordinate their attacks across different suburbs. The latest serious incident was a pitched battle between rioters and policemen in Grande-Borne, a suburb of Paris, on Sunday afternoon after youths had torched a city bus. Shortly after 2 PM immigrant youths stopped the vehicle, ordered the driver and the passengers to get out and set it afire. In fact, some blame the media have for reporting the bus attack, thereby, “adding to the tensions.” Blaming the messenger is about all France can do these days. All of this is now considered to be a “normal” incident in contemporary France. It is the abnormal violence, perhaps coming on November 1 that has the French really worried. This sort of destruction is more likely in a run down neighborhood, where the average car is worth about a tenth of that, and where a car represents a larger chunk of "after necessities" income. Because it is shorter than saying "Youth of North African and Middle Eastern descent"? They may be "cafeteria Muslims" or "Ramadan Muslims" or completely non-observant, but that does not change the facts that they a) come from Muslim families, and b) far more importantly, are not and do not consider themsleves part of French culture. They belong to a very different culture, regardless of how often they pray or at all. That was the case last year and is still the case today. In my article I used the official statistics without adjusting for multiple counts because the statistics do not say how many cars are actually destroyed. The only thing we know for certain is that the number is higher than the statistics indicate. Mike Perry :Could someone explain to me why Bush and the U.S. are attacked for the violence in Bagdad, when exactly the same groups are just as violent in places as diverse and different from the U.S. as Paris, France and Malmo, Sweden? The most obvious answer is that there's a violent streak in some segments of Islam that has nothing to do with what this or that nation is doing or has done to them. The French have long catered to Islamic extremism and look where it has gotten them. The Swedes haven't had been to war in 200 years and for hundreds of years, as best I recall, haven't occupied any countries but Norway and Finland. So is their Malmo trouble revenge for what some wandering Viking ship did in North Africa circa 1300? Andrea :I was in Paris and then in Istanbul during the Summer of 1967. As a new college graduate I volunteered to assist on an archeological dig in Turkey and was pelted with stones by teenaged boys as I walked to work each day. I grew to hate the citified Turks who were anti-American even then. The peasants from Eastern Anatolia who worked on the dig with their pickaxes were decent people, the salt of the earth, really. Our "dig" was a 9th c. Byzantine church that was going to be "restored" as a mosque when we were finished, like Istanbul really needs another mosque. This project was funded by Harvard University. The only churches I saw were museums. I don't think Christian Europe stands a chance of surviving the Muslim onslaught. captain A :When the french start bailing out of their country because Islam rules there america needs to deny every request for entry. By the way, a large proportion of the rioters last November were not "Middle Eastern / North African" at all; they were (and are) from sub-Saharan Africa, which is by no means a monolithically Muslim area. They are a civilized country where an American will get medical treatment, a fair trial and an awfully good meal without passing a religious test of some kind. Saharians :Unlike a lot of American conservatives, I actually like the French. I admire their culture, language, and civilization. I've attended Front National festivals outside Paris and French rightists have been very welcoming to me and my friends. My question is, once the French civil war ensues, do you think the French will accept overseas volunteers? I'm young, fit, and possess military training. Not only do I want to aid my fellow whites in Europe, but I'd love to take a shot at slotting Muslims and Afro-terrorists...what is happening in Europe, is certainly bound to happen in the US. In fact, it already is happening. But perhaps I'm being premature. Perhaps the French will wake up and kick the Muslims and Afro-terrorists out of France. Giving the Romans all they wanted before they became Romans themselves, and then later slipping the chains of bondage from the Romans. They helped settle the North American continent in what is now the United States of America and Canada. It was the French who helped General George Washington at Yorktown in which the great English General Lord Cornwallis surrendered allowing we Americans the freedom that was so hard fought. It was the French with the assistance of the English who slowed down the Kaiser in World War 1 until the "doughboys" came to the rescue. After that war I think the French people lost their appetite to live as they had before as a warring people. I have only heard that the French people lay about and get drunk on either their wine or the wine that they now import, (I personally don't know any French people so this is hearsay, forgive me). Oh, by the way did you know that it was the French and German Knights who stopped the Muslim hoard from conquering all of Western Europe from the South and East. I am not French, but an AMERICAN, (A BLEND OF EVERY NATION THAT MY GOD HAS EVER MADE SINCE ADAM AND EVE; GERMAN, RUSSIAN, POLISH, IRISH, ENGLISH, AND BLACKFOOT INDIAN). I hope and pray that the free French people will wake up and take their country back before they are overtaken in a civil war and reclaim their heritage as the once proud Knights of old did.
